League & Sportsmanship Policies

Start on Time: Arrive early and warm up before your match.

Substitutes: Allowed during regular season; must be approved for playoffs.

Good Vibes Only: No arguing, aggressive behavior, or unsportsmanlike conduct.

Self-Officiated: Call your own infractions. Bar staff has final say if disputes arise.

Score Reporting: Team captains must report scores to the bar.

General Rules
We follow standard AVP beach volleyball rules with a few house tweaks. All leagues are 4 on 4.
Leagues are 4v4. Co-ed teams must have 2 males and 2 females on the roster – cannot play with 3 and 1.
Rally scoring to 21 (win by 2), cap at 25.
Best of 3 sets.
No touching the net at any time during play.
Underhand or overhand allowed; jump serves permitted.
Legal (ball may touch the net and go over).
Not allowed in intermediate or power divisions.
Block does not count as a touch; still allowed 3 touches after a block.
Beach-specific hand setting rules apply.
